Update & Board meeting Videos on Gin Lane and Mocomanto building projects

On July 24th 24/28 Gin Lane was again discussed at the ARB meeting.   It was adjourned until August 14  for further certification from the building inspector and time to research grading, receive clarification on retaining wall, and any open questions on septic, retaining walls, backfill and height.

Village Meeting Minutes January – March, 2017

The main topics of conversation throughout the Village during the First Quarter of 2017 primarily concerned the public hearings regarding the Tuckahoe Mall and the continued discussion (including delay and watering down) of enacting any additional residential zoning restrictions. The 24 condo development at the Village Latch continues to move forward while more details regarding the use of community preservation funds to purchase the Pyrrhus Concer site on Pond Lane have come to light.

Village Meeting Minutes – May through September, 2016

The main topics of conversation throughout the Village during the summer months concerned the North Sea Road plan to increase commercial uses along that corridor, disputes over beach access and parking at the end of Meadow Lane, the purchase of the Town’s Land Preservation Fund of the Pyrrhus Concer site on Pond Lane, and progress on a study of residential zoning in the Village.

Village Meeting Minutes – January and February 2016

Village Meeting Minutes – November and December 2015

Village Meeting Minutes – July and August 2015

After 2 months of review, analysis and debate, the Trustees unanimously approved 2 new zoning laws on July 21st.  The first reduced the height of houses to no more than 30 feet on lots of less than 1/2 acre, and no more than 33 feet on lots from ½ to less than 1 acre in size.  The second new zoning law clarified the definition of a parking space and adopted the Suffolk County definition of a bedroom.  This will ensure that residential parking will not be forced onto the streets,
